Helllooo Margins Peeps!
Been off the grid for about a month. I was traveling in Italy and Greece and taking some care of a few family matters, and am now catching up on all news, green and otherwise. Though I predicted that being offline for such a big chunk of time would drive me slowly insane, turned out that unplugging for a bit was a great way to recharge.
One of the main things I noticed while I was traveling was how much more conservation is part of everyday life in Europe (or at least in the two countries in which I stayed). For example, one of our hotels included an "electricity" key, which was used to turn on and off the electricity in the entire room. No way to waste energy from plugged in appliances while you're not in your room.
